Signature with OTP is an additional subscription mode possible with the Adiuto platform. More and more people are used to using their smartphone to access Internet services or to receive codes for Remote Banking operations. Adiuto has adopted this platform to allow for remote signing of relevant documents both by those who issue them and those who sign them. The OTP technology adopted by Adiuto, in fact, is associated to a subscription with a digital signature certificate so that both signatories have awareness and certainty of the signature.
The adjudication process will allow the signatory to receive a notification that will send him the entire document to view, in order to read and understand its content. Once the signatory decides to sign the document, an automatic procedure will be initiated for which the person will receive an OTP code (one time Password) on their smartphone for verification: this OTP code will have a very limited time validity and, above all, can be used only once.
After the aforementioned code is entered, the Adiuto automations will allow the document to be “sealed” with the signatory's digital signature making it “intact and authentic” in this way and valid in all regulatory and legal aspects. The Adiuto solution will also allow, if necessary and desired, to affix the image of the user's “autograph” signature. This is not a necessary step, but in certain situations and circumstances it has been requested.
A complete "remotization" of the signing process, complete dematerialization, and traceability of the document to the system, a signature that guarantees the highest degree of legal security: ideal for contracts with customers, suppliers, partners, and employees.
